Insights into our Transportables

Our portable buildings are built tough but are also light enough to transport. They are custom-engineered to comply with national standards, using Australian-made steel skid platforms, DuraGal RHS (rectangular hollow section) steel and PFC (parallel flange channel) beams. For added peace of mind, they also have an N3 (non-cyclonic) wind rating and are fitted with termite-resistant subflooring.

Our transportable homes are assembled at our Dubbo facilities—without interruption! Generally, our modular products take between 8 and 12 weeks to manufacture.

Our transportable structures need less maintenance and remain sturdy even when moving. Pre-painted steel-skin panels are used for both interior and exterior walls. No gyprock. No painting. Cleaning is easy—wipe the surface with a damp cloth, and you’re done.

DeltaCool insulated panels in walls and ceilings will have you living and working at comfortable temperatures all year round. With high R-values and excellent thermal resistance, these panels mean less reliance on heating and cooling appliances. This will save money on your electricity bill, leaving more money in your pocket.

Our transportable buildings come with switchboards wired by our licensed electrician, as well as plumbing fitted during manufacture. This makes the on-site setup of your modular home hassle-free. Simply have your electrician and plumber connect your utilities, and then enjoy your new space.

To make sure your new transportable building complies with Australian standards, we employ licensed subcontractors at every stage of the manufacturing process. We can also provide you with engineered drawings and certificates to satisfy local council regulations. These certificates cover electrical, smoke alarm, air conditioning and plumbing installations, waterproofing, and glazing.
